Remove Stains with Balsamic Vinegar

    Upholstery Stains

    • 1). Combine 2/3 cup of rubbing alcohol with 1 tablespoon of white balsamic vinegar.

    • 2). Wet a clean, white cloth and carefully pat the stain. Blot the area with a paper towel to absorb any liquid.

    • 3). Pat the stain and blot the excess liquid until the stain disappears.

    Carpet Stains

    • 1). Soak up as much as possible if the stain is still wet, using paper towels.

    • 2). Combine 2 cups of warm water with 1 tablespoon of white balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of dish detergent.

    • 3). Pat the stain with a clean, white cloth dipped in the vinegar and dish detergent solution. Soak up the excess water solution with a dry towel as you go. Repeat the process until the stain disappears.

    • 4). Apply cold water with a sponge to rinse the area and blot it with a towel until it is dry.
