    • 1). Read your label. If you have the Heavenly Bed polyester pillow covers, shams and duvet cover, you will have to wash those in water that does not exceed 120 degrees F. You cannot use bleach or fabric softener on the polyester Heavenly Bed linens.

    • 2). Separate your laundry. Keeping whites separate from color clothing prevents color from getting onto you Heavenly Bed linens.

    • 3). Separate your Heavenly Bed linens from soiled whites. Lightly soiled linens can pick up dirt from heavily soiled items. So separate your Heavenly Bed linens from other whites to keep them their whitest.

    • 4). Add the recommended amount of detergent as described on the detergent package. Too much detergent will stick to the linens and attract dirt when out of the washer and dryer.

    • 5). Use the hottest temperature setting on your washing machine for your 100 percent cotton Heavenly Bed linens. If you have the poly Heavenly Bed linens, do not exceed 120 degrees F. Hot water works better than cold for getting dirt out.

    • 6). Avoid bleach. Bleach can react with water in a way that will turn items a different color, making whites look dingy. Also, many white linens and garments have chemicals added to them to keep them looking white. Bleach will remove those chemicals and leave your Heavenly Bed linens looking yellow or dirty.

    • 7). Dry on a low setting and remove from the dryer as soon as they are completely dry.
