Sulfur Removal
- 1). Protect your eyes and skin with rubber gloves and protective eyeglasses. Pour a small quantity of Borax into the bowl. The quantity will depend on how many stains you are trying to remove.
- 2). Pour a small quantity of white vinegar into a separate bowl. Lightly dampen one side of the sponge with the white vinegar. Push the dampened side of the sponge into the Borax. The material should adhere to the sponge.
- 3). Vigorously scrub the sulfur stains with the side of the sponge with the Borax and vinegar. Add more vinegar and Borax to the sponge as needed.
- 4). Keep scrubbing until the sulfur stains are no longer present. Rinse the affected area with hot water.
