- Oven cleaner should only be used on the inside of the gas grill and when the burners and pilot light are firmly turned off. Turn the grill off and wait for it to cool completely before using the oven cleaner.
- Apply the oven cleaner to the grill and let the cleaner sit overnight. The next day, wipe down the inside with a damp cloth and remove all traces of the oven cleaner.
- The process of cleaning the grill with oven cleaner may strip the color and finish off the grill.
