How to Clean Mosaic Tiles
- 1). Wipe down the mosaic tile with a damp cleaning rag or mop. This will remove loose buildup and should be done on a weekly basis.
- 2). Mix 1 gallon water with a squirt of dish soap; add about 1/2 cup white vinegar for heavily soiled tiles.
- 3). Dip a cleaning rag or mop into the solution, wring out and use it to wipe down the mosaic tile. Scrub over the tiles as well as the grout lines to remove residue. For heavier buildup in the grout lines, scrub the lines with a wet toothbrush.
- 4). Wipe the tiles and grout with a damp rag to remove any leftover residue.
- 5). Dry the mosaic tiles with a dry, clean rag or mop for a shiny, streak-free finish.
