How to Use Sodium Perborate to Remove Stains
- 1). Steam the fabric in the location of the stain. The stained area must be warm and moist.
- 2). Sprinkle sodium perborate powder from a spoon or shaker onto the stain. Add a drop or two of water to the powder to hold it in place as you work out the stain.
- 3). Apply steam to the sodium perborate solution to move it into the fabric and the stain. Watch the surrounding fabric for signs of the colors changing as you work out the stain.
- 4). Neutralize the bleach with acetic acid or tannin formula. Completely clean the chemicals from the fabric with additional steam.
- 1). Mix two tbsp. of sodium perborate with one pint of hot water to create a solution.
- 2). Add calcium carbonate to the sodium perborate solution to form a thick paste.
- 3). Apply the paste directly to the stained concrete. Allow it to remain undisturbed on the stained concrete until dry.
- 4). Wash the paste away with water.
