How to Clean Red Wine From Leather
- 1). Wipe up as much wine as possible up with a clean cloth immediately after the wine is spilled.
- 2). Sprinkle table salt onto the stain to absorb the remaining wine. Allow the salt to sit for a few minutes.
- 3). Use a vacuum to remove the salt if the stain is on upholstery. If the stain is on clothing, simply brush off the salt.
- 4). Remove additional red wine by sprinkling the area with white wine, then blot with a clean cloth.
- 5). Apply cold water to remove any remaining discoloration. Use a clean cloth to blot away the water and wine.
