- 1). Unplug the television from its power source and remove all cables and connections.
- 2). Wipe the down the screen area with the dry microfiber cloth to get rid of any larger dust particles.
- 3). Dampen the cloth with the plasma screen cleaning solution and wipe down the screen to remove any fingerprints and give the glass a nice sheen. The solution should evaporate quickly, leaving no need for drying.
- 4). Blow out the dust around the buttons on the side and the connectors on the back with the dust blower. Use a squeeze-ball dust blower or a can of compressed air, but don't use any liquid in these areas.
- 5). Vacuum out any dust that may be in the side or back vents using a vacuum cleaner hose attachment. Again, avoid using any liquid whatsoever in this area.
- 6). Dampen the cloth with the plasma screen cleaning solution and wipe down the screen to remove any last traces of dust on the screen, and then plug in any connections.
