Video: What Width of Scarf for Men?
Video Transcript
Hi. My name is Christina Gavenda, and today we're going to talk about the width of men's scarves. Most men choose not to wear thinner scarves. A thicker scarf provides more warmth for the neck and functionality. Men's scarves are typically about 10 to 12 inches wide, though they can vary from 6 inches all the way up to 14 inches wide and from 50 to 70 inches long. A taller man might need a longer and thicker scarf, so maybe 14 inches and 70 inches long, a shorter man with a thinner neck might need something thinner, maybe 10 inches wide and 50 inches long. This is so that the scarf can comfortably fit around the neck twice or drape down their sides. When choosing or making a scarf for man take in to consideration his size and also his preferences. Does he wear a scarf regularly, does he wear it for style or more for comfort. The answers to these questions will help you in your scarf purchasing and making. Choosing the right size of scarf to give can help your scarf be used and appreciated. Thanks for watching.
