Yamaha BD-S2900 Blu-ray Disc Player - Remote Control

Pictured on this page is a close-up view of the wireless remote control for the BD-S2900. As you can see, the remote is about 8 1/2 inches long. It is easy to hold and use. The layout is very typical, with the on/off button laid out on the very top, followed by the player transport access buttons. The onscreen menu setup and navigation system controls, and the audio, subtitles, and other less used functions are laid out in the center portion of the remote.

The direct chapter access buttons are placed at the bottom of the remote. There is no eject button on the remote, you much eject the disc at the player. It is important to note that since very few functions can be accessed on the DVD player itself, don't lose the remote.
One final note about the remote control that Yamaha has provided for the BD-S2900 is that it has the look of some of VCR remote controls I used to use in the 80's. The two-tone color definitely gives it a "retro" look. However, it is easy to use.
