- 1). Purchase an HDMI to DVI converter cable. You can find one of these at several online retailers, a local electronics store or even some department stores with electronics departments. Expect to pay about $15 to $25 (in 2011) for a 6-foot cable.
- 2). Plug the DVI end of the cord into the DVI port on the device.
- 3). Tighten both screws on the DVI cord.
- 4). Plug the HDMI end of the cord into the HDMI port on the other device.
