How to Overclock the AMD 9950
- 1). Turn off your computer if it is already on. Press the power button to turn it back on. Wait for the manufacturer's logo screen and repeatedly press the button assigned to BIOS Setup, indicated by "F# = SETUP" on-screen.
- 2). Use the arrow keys to locate and navigate to the CPU advanced settings inside of the BIOS.
- 3). Highlight the "FSB Speed" and change it to "200MHz" if necessary. Highlight the "CPU multiplier" and change the value to "15x."
- 4). Press "Esc" and select the "Save and Exit" option. Allow the computer to reboot and the processor will now be running at the highest known stable speed: 3.0GHz.
