How to Sync a Dell Axim X50 With a Macbook Pro
- 1). Download SyncMate or Missing Sync, and install your choice by dragging its application icon to the Applications folder.
- 2). Plug your ActiveSync cable into the Dell Axim and into the computer's USB port.
- 3). Double-click the SyncMate or Missing Sync application in your Applications folder.
- 1). Enter your computer's password when prompted to allow SyncMate to install a driver.
- 2). Choose "Windows Mobile USB" when prompted with a list of device types, and allow the program to connect.
- 3). Check the types of items that you want to sync from the list on the left-hand side of the screen. The items include contacts, applications, notes and calendar.
- 4). Press the "Sync" button in the top right hand corner of the program.
- 5). Press the "disconnect" button to safely disconnect your Dell Axim PDA from your computer after the syncing is completed.
- 1). Choose the information you want to have synced when prompted by the setup wizard.
- 2). Press the "Sync" button in the main Missing Sync window when the wizard is completed.
- 3). Press the "disconnect" button when the sync is completed to safely disconnect your Dell Axim from your computer.
