How to Convert GPX to Magellan
- 1). Download and install GPSBabel from the developer's website (see Resources). Launch the application from the "Programs" menu once the installation is complete.
- 2). Select the "File" radial option under both the "Input" and "Output" sections of the GPSBabel dialog. Select "GPX XML" from the "Input" drop-down box and use the "File" button to select the GPX file from your hard drive.
- 3). Select the appropriate Magellan option for your device from the "Output" drop-down box. Choose a name and location for your file using the "File" button. Click "Apply" to have GPSBabel make the conversion.
- 1). Create a new tab or window in your Web browser and navigate to the GPSVisualizer conversion tool (see Resources).
- 2). Select "GPX XML" from the "Input file format" drop-down box, then select the appropriate Magellan file format for your device from the "Output file format" drop-down box.
- 3). Click the "Choose File" button, then select the GPX file from your hard drive. Click the "Convert the file" button to upload the GPX file to GPSVisualizer and have the server do the conversion for you.
- 4). Click the provided download link to save the new Magellan file to your hard drive.

- 2). Click the "Choose File" button, then select the GPX file from your hard drive. Select "Magellan Track" from the drop-down list labeled "Track."
- 3). Click the "Convert" button to upload the GPX file to GPSies and have the server do the conversion for you.
- 4). Click the provided download link to save the new Magellan file to your hard drive.
