- 1). Power on the Garmin Nuvi by pressing the "On/Off" button on the top of the device.
- 2). Tap "Where to?" on the Nuvi screen.
- 3). Tap "Address." You can also select "Point of Interest" and use the on-screen keyboard to enter the name of the point of interest.
- 4). Tap the destination state when prompted. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the letters that correspond with the destination city when prompted. Touch "Done."
- 5). Enter the number of the street address. Touch "Done."
- 6). Enter the street name when prompted. Touch "Done." The GPS will find a route to get from your current location to the entered destination.
