How to Change the Recording Dates on a Cox Cable Box

Modify Record Date of a Scheduled Recording

• 1). Turn on the TV and Cox DVR cable box.
  
  
• 2). Press "DVR List" on the Cox cable remote control. Press the blue "B" button to open the Scheduled Recordings list.
  
  
• 3). Use the remote control's up or down arrow buttons to highlight the scheduled recording you would like to modify.
  
  
• 4). Press "Select." Select "Cancel Recording." "Press "Select" again. Then press the yellow "A" button to confirm.
  
  
• 5). Push "Guide" on the Cox cable remote control to open the program guide display. To schedule a recording for a program which airs tomorrow, press "1" followed by the left arrow button to jump ahead one day in the guide. If the program airs two days from now, press "2" followed by the left arrow button. For three days from now, press 3" followed by the left arrow button, and so forth. The Program Guide date appears in a box on the left side of the screen.
  
  
• 6). Use the remote control's arrow buttons to locate and highlight the program you want to schedule a recording for.
  
  
• 7). Press the "Record" button. Select "Record this Show."
  
  

Modify Start and End Recording of a Scheduled Recording

• 1). Turn on the TV and Cox DVR cable box.
  
  
• 2). Press "DVR List" on the Cox cable remote control. Press the blue "B" button to open the Scheduled Recordings list.
  
  
• 3). Use the remote control's up or down arrow buttons to highlight the scheduled recording you would like to modify.
  
  
• 4). Press "Select." Select "Record Options."
  
  
• 5). Use the remote control's arrow buttons to modify the start and end times of the scheduled recording.
