Toshiba Cordless Telephone Instructions
- Toshiba cordless phones run on a rechargeable battery that needs to be fully charged before using the phone. If the battery is not fully charged when first used, it may drain quicker than intended and need to be replaced after a short amount of time. To charge the phone, plug the AC adapter into a working electrical outlet and the back of the charging base. Remove the battery compartment cover and attach the supplied battery to the receptacle in the compartment. Replace the cover on the phone and put the handset on the charging base. The charge indicator light will come on.
The phone should stay on the charging base for at least 12 hours before use. - There are three options for making calls with a Toshiba cordless phone. The first option is to press the "Talk" button, listen for the dial tone and dial the number. The second option is to dial the number and press the "Talk" button. The third option is to redial the last number called. To redial, press the "Talk" button and then the "Redial" button.
To answer an incoming phone call, press the "Talk" button when the phone is ringing.
When you are finished using the phone, press the "Talk" button or place the handset back on the base to hang up. - Toshiba cordless phones have several different settings, such as the earpiece volume, ringer volume and base speaker volume, that can be customized by the user. To change the handset earpiece volume, press the "Vol/Ring" button and use the up and down arrow buttons to change the volume during a call.
To adjust the handset ringer volume, press the "Vol/Ring" button and use the up and down arrow buttons to change the volume while the phone is not in use. The handset will not ring when it is sitting on the charger base.
If you want to change the volume of the base, press the "Volume/+" or "Volume/-" button until the desired volume level is reached.
