- 1). Turn on your computer.
- 2). Insert the 855's USB cable into your computer's USB port and then insert the other end into your 855's micro-USB port.
- 3). Click your computer's "Start" button.
- 4). Click "Computer" or "My Computer," depending on your operating system, from the "Start" menu. A window appears.
- 5). Double-click your 855's listing in the window.
- 6). Open a separate window containing your computer's music files.
- 7). Hold "Ctrl" down and click on each MP3 file you want to add to the 855. Release "Ctrl" after clicking all desired MP3s. Notice that all clicked files are highlighted.
- 8). Right-click one of the highlighted music files and click "Copy." All the highlighted files copy.
- 9). Restore the window containing your 855's files.

Right-click an open space in your 855's file list and click "Paste." The music files copy to the 855's internal storage. - 11
Press the "Back" arrow at the top of the window. You return to the Computer or My Computer folder, depending on your operating system. - 12
Right-click the 855's drive and click "Eject." The 855's listing disappears after a few seconds. - 13
Disconnect the Nuvi 855 from your computer.
