How to Record a DVD-R With a Panasonic SDR-H60P/PC
- 1). Connect the video camera to an external DVD burner using a Mini AB USB cable, and connect the AC adapter to the video camera, because this method will not work if you are using the battery. Power up both devices, and in the menu settings of the camcorder, select "Burn Disc," then "HDD," "Video" and "DVD Copy." Select "All Scenes" or specific scenes. Insert a recordable DVD-R disc into the DVD burner. Click "Yes" in the menu settings to burn the disc, and press "Record" on the DVD burner if it does not start automatically.
- 2). Connect the camera to the composite audio/video input of a DVD recorder using the supplied A/V cable, and connect the AC adapter to the camera. Turn on the camera and set it to playback mode. In the menu settings, select "Media Select" and then "HDD." Insert a blank DVD-R disc into the DVD recorder, select the scene you wish to burn and press "Play." Press "Record" on the DVD recorder to begin burning the DVD.
- 3). Install the supplied VideoCam Suite software on your computer, connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable and connect the AC adapter to the camera. In the menu settings, select "PC Connect" and then "HDD;" the computer will then recognize the camera. Open VideoCam Suite and load a blank DVD-R disc into the computer's CD/DVD-ROM drive. Press the "DVD Copy" button on the camera. The "Create DVD-Video Disc" screen will appear; select the scenes you want to burn to DVD and follow the on-screen prompts to begin the process.
