- 1). Turn off your printer. Press and hold the "GO" button. Wait for the "Cold Reset" phrase to display on the screen. If you do not have a display, the lights in front of the printer should turn red.
- 2). Release the "GO" button. The words, "Initialing," "Restoring" and "Offline" will display on the screen. Alternatively, the lights in the back will flash periodically.
- 3). Press the "GO" button once again. Pressing this button will allow the cartridge and printer to print in the normal online mode.
