- 1). Connect the PS3 composite AV cable to the port on the back of the PS3. Note that the PS3 end of the composite AV cable is a single black plug.
- 2). Connect the red, yellow and white end of the composite AV cable to the corresponding input ports on the back of your TV.
- 3). Turn on your TV.
- 4). Use your remote control to change the "Source" or "Input" to the channel to which you just connected the composite AV cable.
- 5). Press the "Power" button on your PS3, and hold the button down until you hear a series of beeps. This resets the PS3 to its default video settings, allowing you to view the PS3 display on your standard-definition TV.
