- 1). Attach the end of one of the two wires from the lights you want to run from the battery to one of the two battery terminals. It doesn't matter which terminal. Use a screwdriver, If the battery has a screw terminal, to loosen the screw.
- 2). Insert the wire under the screw and then tighten. If the battery doesn't have screw terminals, then use a strip of electrical insulating tape to hold the wire in place.
- 3). Place the wire onto the battery terminal and then put the tape over the top. Stick the tape to the sides of the battery to hold the wire in place.
- 4). Repeat the process by attaching the other wire from the lights to the remaining battery terminal. Either loosen the terminal screw and insert the wire under the screw and tighten, or use tape to hold it in place.
- 5). Turn on your lights, if they have a switch fitted. If not, then your lights will already be on.
