This is a docudrama about the final days of Brian Jones (Leo Gregory), a founding member of the Rolling Stones. In the 1960s, he played guitar and harmonica and sang along with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

However, Jones' heavy drug use interfered with his ability to perform, and he was kicked out of the band. In this movie he hires an assistant named Frank Thorogood (Paddy Considine) and becomes drug buddies with him. But in 1969 Jones turns up drowned in his own swimming pool, dead at age 27.
