- 1). Navigate to voice.google.com in your Internet browser, and log in to your Google Voice account.
- 2). Click the gear in the upper-right corner of the Google Voice window, and click "Voice settings" from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Click "Change/Port" next to your Google Voice number, and click "I Want to Use my Existing Mobile Number Instead."
- 4). Enter your phone number into the field, and click "Check." If your number can be ported to Google Voice, check all of the boxes and click the "Next" button.
- 5). Enter the details of your wireless service account to verify that you own the number you want to port. Click "Next," and confirm that you want to port your number.
- 6). Enter your Google Checkout billing details to pay the $20 porting fee, as of time of publication. Your cell phone number will be ported to your Google Voice account and will replace any current Google Voice number.
