- 1). Roll the poster board into a cone. Make the bottom of the cone smaller for a small tree or wider for a bigger tree. Experiment with size until you find one that fits your table or decorating needs.
- 2). Glue the cone in place with the glue gun. Peg the side down so that it stays in place until the glue dries.
- 3). Trim the bottom of the cone so that it's straight. Stand it up on your work surface.
- 4). Place a small dot of glue onto the back of each candy and stick them onto the cone. Start at the bottom and work your way up. You can make patterns or strips with different colored candies if you have time.
