How to Use a DVR HDD

Recording a Program

• 1). Press the "Guide" button on your DVR remote to access a list of available future programming.
  
  
• 2). Select the show you want to record using the arrow keys on your remote. Press "Select." Select the "Record" option in the next menu.
  
  
• 3). Adjust your recording settings (such as start and stop time, episode count and save time). Select "Confirm." While the program is airing, the DVR will record it.
  
  

Viewing Recorded Programs

• 1). Press the "List" button on your DVR remote to bring up a list of recorded programs.
  
  
• 2). Select the program you want to watch with your remote's arrow keys. Press "Select" to bring up the program viewing menu.
  
  
• 3). Select "Play from beginning" to watch your recorded program.
  
  
• 4). Press "Pause," "Rewind" and "Fast-forward" as needed.
