- 1). Download and install a Limewire client if you have not already done so. Visit the Limewire website to download the setup wizard (See Resources).
- 2). Search for and download your desired MP3 audio from the Limewire client. Search for songs by title, artist and album.
- 3). Double-click on a file in the search results list to download it.
- 4). Connect the MP4 player to your personal computer. Insert one end of the MP4 player's USB adapter into the device itself.
- 5). Insert the other end of the adapter into an available port on your computer. Wait for the computer to recognize your MP4 player as an attached device.
- 6). Double-click the MP4 player's device icon to open its file folder window.
- 7). Open your Limewire file folder in a separate file manager window. This is the folder to which your Limewire music downloads.
- 8). Drag and drop music from the Limewire file folder into the MP4 player's file folder window.
- 9). Safely remove the MP4 player from your computer. Right-click the MP4 player's device icon and select "Eject" or "Safely Remove Device."
