- 1). Download Switch Sound File Converter software suite from Download.com (see Resources).
- 2). Install the software package by double-clicking on the downloaded file icon and follow installation instructions. This software package is free and is useful for converting back and forth between music file types, including MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC and WMA.
- 3). Open the Switch Sound File Converter program by double-clicking on the "desktop icon or by navigating through the Start menu.
- 4). Click on the "Add File" icon at the top left corner of the screen and navigate through your folder to select the FLAC file you wish to convert.
- 5). Select your desired output folder and file type. The default file output is MP3.
- 6). Click on the "Convert" button in the bottom right corner to proceed with the conversion. The software will quickly convert your music file to MP3 format. You can load the new MP3 onto your media player and enjoy.
