- 1). Dip your paintbrush in light blue paint and draw an oval shape on your canvas or paper. Rinse your paintbrush with water.
- 2). Dip your paintbrush in dark blue paint and paint a small crescent moon shape inside and directly on the bottom of the oval shape. This creates a shadow that gives the appearance of light beaming through the drop. Rinse your paintbrush with water.
- 3). Mix light blue paint with a small drop of white paint.
- 4). Paint a tiny circle inside the oval at the top left corner with this blue and white mixture of paint. This further enhances the appearance of light beaming through the drop.
