      Rosemary, another member of the mint family, is often used to season Italian sauces, dressings and meat when dill is not an option. Though rosemary has a distinctively different flavor than dill, the dishes enhanced by dill can also be supplemented by rosemary. This herb can be paired with potatoes, meats such as lamb, as well as sauces and salad dressings.
