Which Diet Worked The Best For You?

103 83
There are hundreds of thousands of different diets in the world.
Japanese diet, low carbohydrate diet, Atkins diet, detox diet, cabbage soup diet, blood type diet and so on.
When I first faced the problem of losing extra pounds I didn't know where to start from.
Had so many questions in my head and couldn't find any answers.
Which diet is the best? Which one of them works faster than others? Which one is effective, but doesn't harm your health? I have found lots of information about every single diet, but all those web pages were screaming the same: "Choose this diet! That's the best and most effective diet known to human being!".
If every one of them is the best, that makes it even more complicated to choose.
Most of those websites are just selling their stuff and are not interested in what people think.
Not all of them let people to leave their comments, or those pages are full of fake comments.
That kills me the most.
I don't think that one diet can suit everyone.
But on some websites there are just people worshipping the diet...
and once in 3 comments, left by 3 "different" people there was the same misspelling of the same word...
What are the chances that three people will do the same vocabulary mistake? Duh...
So without having enough information on hand, I decided to try one.
It was a low carbohydrate diet.
It did sound quite reasonable.
It was hard at the beginning, as didn't know what to cook and eat.
There seemed to be a small variety of dishes.
But within few days I found lots of recipes to suit this diet needs.
I have also increased the amount of exercises I was doing and I was surprised that I lost nearly 15 pounds in two months time.
So I went from 10 stones to..
..
it was a long time ago...
Wish I had this weight now.
But I was much younger and it's known fact, that it's much easier to lose weight when you're young.
And I had an active job at that time too.
Later on in my life I have tried cabbage soup diet, celery soup diet, maple syrup diet...
They all seemed to work fine, but result was far from being permanent.
I usually put the weight back on within the next few weeks.
So, so far, the best diet that worked for me, was a low carbohydrate diet.
But I am not sure that this diet is healthy.
As a few doctors are saying that it's very bad for your kidneys and liver.
I would really appreciate, if you guys, could give your advice about the diets.
Which one did work for you the best? With which diet have you achieved the best results? And which diet is it best to stay away from? Share you experience and let other people know what to expect from a particular diet.
