- 1). Fill a small bucket with hot water.
- 2). Soak a clean, dry dish rag in the hot water. Wipe down the marble surface with the rag.
- 3). Apply the alkaline cleaner to the marble. Wash the cleaner in small circles that overlap. Make sure to clean the entire table thoroughly.
- 4). Rinse the dish rag in the water completely so no soap, suds or cleaner is left on the rag.
- 5). Dump the water in the bucket out if the water is too dirty.
- 6). Dry the marble tabletop with a soft cloth. Ensure the table is dried completely before putting a tablecloth or place mats on it.
