How to Make PVC Shelves
- 1). Create a rectangle shape by laying two runner pipes parallel to each other, and two side rung pieces parallel to each other. Connect the segments with a three way connector. The third, empty piece of the three way connector should be facing upward.
- 2). Insert a leg segment into each upward facing section of the three way connector.
- 3). Secure a four way connector on top of each leg section. One empty connector section should face upward. The others should align with the lower rectangle.
- 4). Create a rectangle shape identical to the one created in Step 1. This rectangle should be assembled using the four way connectors to create a middle shelf.
- 5). Insert a leg segment into each upward facing section of the four way connectors.
- 6). Secure a three way connector on top of each leg section. The empty connector sections should align with the lower rectangles.
- 7). Create a rectangle shape identical to those created in Step 1 and Step 4. The rectangle should be assembled using the three way connectors on the top to create a top shelf.
- 8). Disassemble the PVC pipe pieces carefully so that they can be glued together. Swab a small amount of glue to the fitting and push the pipe inside. This will prevent messes from excess glue being squeezed outward.
- 9). Fit a piece of plywood over the rectangle shelf sections.
