- 1). Move your GE Adora washer away from the wall, and disconnect the power supply from the wall outlet.
- 2). Turn the water supply valve to the "Off" position to shut off the water to the dishwasher.
- 3). Open the front washer door, and pull the spring and wire from the bottom of the door gasket using needle-nose pliers.
- 4). Pull the rubber gasket off of the edge of the front panel. Remove the entire gasket by pulling it forward and out of the washer drum.
- 5). Place a small amount of liquid dishwasher detergent around the new gasket part to help ease it into the washer.
- 6). Slide the new gasket around the washer drum, and then use your thumbs to press the gasket around the groove on the front panel.
- 7). Reconnect the spring and wire using the needle-nose pliers. Turn the water supply valve to the "On" position, and reconnect the power supply.
