- Purchase one pair of white canvas shoes for every guest at the birthday party. Provide markers, ribbon and colorful laces for the girls to color and embellish their shoes with. To give this craft as a gift, simply wrap the white shoes with the markers and some ribbon, beads and jewels.
- Cut three strands of yarn or embroidery floss, fold them in half and tie them together in the center. Show the girls how to tie a double knot around each of the other strings, repeating with each strand until they reach the end. They can trade with each other or take their bracelets home as party favors.
- Give each guest two pieces of square-shaped felt. Direct them to line up the edges of their felt pieces and cut 2-inch slits approximately 1 inch apart along three of the edges. Help the girls tie the strips together with a double knot. Glue a handle to the top opening of the purse and provide felt shapes for the girls to embellish their purses with.
