How to Reduce the Number of Spiders in Jasmine Bushes
- 1). Spray the bottoms of the leaves with a strong jet spray. Use a garden wand if possible. The water pressure removes spiders from the plant.
- 2). Repeat the spray application two or three times a week, depending on the number of remaining spiders.
- 3). Watch the plant carefully, and repeat the process if spiders return.
- 4). Cut the entire bush to the ground if it is infested with spider mites. Burn the cuttings to get rid of the insects. Cut the plant only after it has finished blooming. Fertilize and water the plant to encourage new growth.
