• 1). Choose the design that you want to use to make the window decal. Make any adjustments required such as resizing or flipping the images.
  
  
• 2). Place the vinyl onto the cutting mat with the protective paper side facing down. Gently rub your hands over the vinyl from the center out to ensure that the vinyl is completely smooth and lying flat.
  
  
• 3). Program the cutting machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. If necessary, perform some practice cuts on scrap vinyl to ensure that there is a clean cut. The vinyl should be cut and the backing paper should remain intact.
  
  
• 4). Peel away all the parts of the vinyl that are not required, leaving just the design or lettering.
  
  
• 5). Remove the cut vinyl from the backing paper and smooth it onto the window.
