- 1). Measure two inches in from each top edge on top of the door. Install a wheel at these points on the door edge. Use a power drill to mount the wheels with a screw. Repeat this for the second door panel.
- 2). Lift one door panel so that the wheels on top go up into the innermost channel of the overhead track. Move the top of the door forward and hang the door wheels onto the track.
- 3). Lift and hang the second door panel on the outside channel of the overhead track. Hang it the same way, pulling the top of the door up and forward so that the wheels hang in the overhead track.
- 4). Slide both doors against the side jambs, making sure that they slide smoothly and hang evenly. Turn the adjusting nut on the door wheels, using a wrench, and raise or lower the door corner so that the doors hang evenly, if necessary.
- 5). Position the guide track on the floor, centered underneath the hanging doors. Turn the adjusting nut on the door wheels to raise or lower the doors, so that the door bottoms ride on top of the guide track.
- 6). Install a screw through the hole in the guide track to mount it to the floor, using a power drill.
