Lose the Double Chin Without a Rigid Diet
You can get a double chin when you are significantly overweight, and it can totally change the look of your face and appearance.
There are ways to lose the double chin, and you can start by taking an honest look at yourself in the mirror.

In order to improve your appearance, you will want to first get healthy.
Losing weight can be one of the most rewarding actions that you can take to become healthy.
Consider beginning a healthy diet.
Look for lean proteins, fresh vegetables, a variety of fruit, and a healthy starch like brown rice.

One great trick that I use is to get a small snack plate.

I like the dried variety for snacks.
These foods will also give you energy to exercise and keep you alert to get through the workday.
For snacking, I will grab a banana and a protein shake, or a handful of Cheerios with a carton of yogurt.
Go light, and remember not to go hungry.
It is always best to choose a healthy snack when you are hungry, and not to ignore your hunger.
When you ignore the hunger, the feeling gets more persistent.
You must listen to your body when it first signals hunger so that you can make better food choices.
When I had trouble losing weight, I would ignore the signals that my body was giving me.
I sat behind a desk 8 to 10 hours a day, eating whatever and whenever I felt like it.
I would also skip exercising because I was so mentally exhausted everyday.
This was not the mindset to have and I quickly gained 40 pounds.
My knees and joints ached, and I developed a severe case of depression.
I have since changed my bad habits.
I make intelligent food and exercise choices everyday.
You don't have to spend a lot of money to eat healthy, you can simply start choosing fresh foods over junk and processed foods.
Get some daily exercise.
I workout on a treadmill at least 5 times a week for 50 minutes or more.
The cardio has worked to help me lose weight not only in my face, but my whole body.
Drink lots of water to stay hydrated.
Try to drink at least eight to ten 8-ounce glasses of water every day.
Replace sodas and fruit juices that are high in sugar with carbonated water, or good old fashioned tap water.
Lastly you will want to get moving.
You must move you body every day.
It is good for circulation, and it will help you feel better.
Exercise gives you mental clarity, and a physical advantage that you will need for a long healthy life.
Get into some healthy habits, and keep going.
