How to Repair a Gucci Lens

Glass Lens

• 1). Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste onto the scratch.
  
  
• 2). Use a cotton swab or a q-tip and evenly distribute the toothpaste onto the scratch. Allow the toothpaste to sit on the scratch for a few minutes. The toothpaste will fill in the gap caused by the scratch.
  
  
• 3). Rinse the lens under warm water. Rinse the lens until all the toothpaste comes off. Blot moisture off with a non-abrasive towel or a towelette that is specifically designed for glasses.
  
  

Plastic lens

• 1). Drop a small amount of Armour Etch onto a cotton ball or q-tip. Armour Etch is a compound formulated to remove scratches on glass.
  
  
• 2). Evenly distribute the Armour Etch onto the scratch with a q-tip. Allow the compound to sit on the scratch for about 5 minutes.
  
  
• 3). Rinse the lens under warm water. Blot moisture off with a non-abrasive towel.
