- 1). Create a colorful door curtain by hanging streamers from the top of a doorway with clear Scotch tape. Hang them loosely and space them so people can see through to the other side. Make sure the streamers are a couple of inches above the floor, so they do not get stepped on.
- 2). Attach streamers to the focal point of a room. Twirl them loosely and attach the other ends of the streamers to other objects around the room. Or attach them to the ceiling in a funnel shape.
- 3). Use clear Scotch tape to attach streamers to the corners, sides or even the entire perimeter of a room. Loosely twirl each streamer upward and attach it to the ceiling, preferably at a central point for all streamers. You can also use several central ceiling points around the room to group different sets of streamers.
- 4). Twirl the streamers and hang them loosely across the top of a window frame.
- 5). Hang streamers from the ceiling, if it is quite high. Don't use a pattern, but instead choose intuitively where the streamers should go (as with tinsel on a Christmas tree). Let them hang a few feet above people's heads; don't attach them to anything at the bottom. Also try using streamers of slightly varying lengths to give a layered look.
