The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is the 12th largest airport in the United States and in 2009, served 32 million passengers, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport website. The airport consists of four runways and two terminals (Lindbergh and Humphrey). The MSP airport offers a variety of restaurants for hungry travelers to fuel up before a long flight or kill some time on a layover. - Located on the "F" concourse in the Lindbergh Terminal, French Meadow Bakery and Cafe features a healthy menu filled with sandwiches made with organic bread, vegan entrees, soups and salads. This sit-down restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu includes vegan blueberry corn cakes, Cajun hashbrowns, organic granola and organic eggs Benedict. For dinner, start off with an appetizer of fried gnocchi or a vegan calzone. Entrees include free-range Minnesota chicken served with garlic mashed potatoes and sweet corn arepas. Wash your meal down with a bottle of Naked Juice, a cup of organic coffee or bottled water. Wine lovers can enjoy a comprehensive wine list. French Meadow Bakery charges a nominal fee if you are splitting a plate.

This sit-down restaurant is located in the Humphrey Terminal and is operated by the owners of Lord Fletcher's restaurant on Lake Minnetonka. The restaurant has seating for 125 patrons and an outdoor balcony for customers to wander outside for a few moments. The menu features Minnesota favorites (wild rice soup, walleye wraps and fried walleye sandwiches) and American entrees (burgers, chicken sandwiches and entree-sized salads). Top your meal off with a dessert; the menu includes s'mores for two and an Oreo mud pie.

Located in the mall area near Checkpoint 1, Ike's offers a menu of American favorites, from baby back ribs to Angus French dip sandwiches to hearty steak dinners. The restaurant also serves breakfast and the menu includes make-your-own omelets, breakfast burgers and crab cake Benedict. All customers receive free chocolate chip cookies, but if you're looking to indulge in a heartier dessert, Ike's offers milkshakes and alcoholic dessert drinks.
