    • 1). Invite guests to appear in costume dressed as their favorite Disney character. The party crowd will resemble a Disney theme park as diverse characters will be represented.

    • 2). Prepare a party cake based on the Disney movie, “Up.” Bake cupcakes and frost cupcakes different colors to resemble the bunch of balloons featured in the film. Arrange the cupcakes in a bunch on a table, placing the tip of a ribbon underneath each cupcake. Direct the ribbons to one side and place a cake decorated as a house on top of the ends of the ribbons.

    • 3). Feature a Disney-themed craft or project at the party. Invite guests to make Mickey or Minnie Mouse headbands. Cut two round ears from a piece of stiff black felt and hot glue the ears to a black headband. Tie a bow with red polka-dotted ribbon and glue the bow between the ears to make Minnie Mouse ears.

    • 4). Make a two-dimensional castle backdrop based on the Cinderella castle featured at Disney World. Cut the silhouette of a castle on large, thick poster board paper, such as a three-panel display board. Paint the front of the castle on the board and place the board in prominent place, such as on the gifts table.

    • 5). Invite guests to decorate cookies based on their favorite Disney movie or character. Provide sugar cookies, frosting tubes and candy pieces for children to create faces and images.
