- 1). Slide one end of the 4-inch elastic strap through the closed loop on the bra hook. Pull the elastic strap through about 1/2 inch so that the strap is folded. Sew the short end of the strap to the other side of the folded strap just below the hook.
- 2). Fold the 6-inch elastic strip in half. Beginning at the folded end, stitch the two sides of the elastic together every 1/2 inch until you reach the end of the folded strip. This creates small pockets for the bra hook to attach to and provides up to six adjustment settings.
- 3). Flip the wig inside out.
- 4). Hook the bra hook on the 4-inch strap to the first loop on the other elastic strap. Place the hooked straps against the wig at the back hairline. Line the bra hook up with the middle of the back hairline.
- 5). Attach the end of each of the straps to the hairline of the wig using a ball head-sewing pin. Unhook the straps.
- 6). Use a needle and thread to sew the straps into place where you placed each of the pins. Remove the pins when you have finished making your stitches.
- 7). Flip the wig right side out and place it on your head. Reach under the wig and place the open end of the bra hook in one of the pockets on the folded strap so that the wig fits securely on your head.
