    • 1). Decide if you would prefer live music or recorded music and a DJ. Both will set very different tones for the wedding. Live music could limit the types of songs you want played, but will add a unique and classic aspect. A DJ will likely be more affordable and will allow for a variety of tunes.

    • 2). Determine what music, if any, you want played as guests are seated and the venue fills prior to the ceremony. A light and subtle song or music will likely work best, as it won't disrupt or add chaos to the seating process.

    • 3). Choose the music to accompany the bridesmaids and groomsmen as they walk down the aisle. This could range from traditional, to classical, to pop music to even a light rock song. The bridal party could even choreograph a dance down the aisle to an upbeat song if desired.

    • 4). Play either a traditional wedding march of "Here Comes the Bride" or a more modern or alternative version. Choose a fun burst of music as the couple are announced as husband and wife and they process back down the aisle. This could include "Accidentally in Love," or "When a Man Loves a Woman."

    • 5). Ensure that the programs reflects all the musical choices in chronological order and that it also includes the songs composer or artist. This way guests will be able to easily follow the flow of the ceremony and be informed of the performing artist, band or composer of the music they enjoy.
