- 1). Plug the USB microphone into an open USB port on the front of your Playstation 3 console.
- 2). Power on the Playstation 3 console. You can press the power button on the console, the controller, or a Rock Band controller. If you turn on the console using the SixAxis or DualShock 3 controller, you can skip the next step.
- 3). Press the "PS" button on your DualShock 3 or SixAxis controller to connect the controller to your Playstation. Your controller needs to be charged in order to connect. If not, connect the controller to the console using the included USB cable and an open USB port.
- 4). Start your Rock Band game disc, and begin or continue a game. Use the controller to select a song and select the vocals, and then begin singing. The game should register the microphone as connected, letting you sing away.
