Here's a fact: When it comes to the World of Warcraft, there are plenty of free resources online.
So this begs the question, why should anyone even consider buying a WoW Leveling Guide? Well, the answer is simple.
It depends upon the gamer and how they want to go about their game.
To help you see things better, here's a quick overview of both the good and bad when it comes to using a WoW Leveling Guide.
The Good: When it comes to the World of Warcraft, leveling becomes much more difficult the higher you go.
This is because when you first start out, you will not encounter anything or any more than what your character can handle.
You would find it easy to go from one quest to the other and even do several all at once.
But once you hit level 15 to 20, you start seeing the difference and the quests become harder.
This is where leveling guides might be able to help you out.
They are basically walkthroughs of the whole game from level 1 up to 70.
It would help you do quests more efficiently because you would be given the location of certain objects, quests and places which would have taken you quite a while to find if you didn't have the guide.
You need not waste you time on unnecessary little details thus reducing your play hours.
The Bad: Besides the fact that there are leveling guides that simply don't work, some gamers feel that using a guide can actually take the element of fantasy when playing WoW.
After all, this is an RPG or role playing game and the more intensely you relate to your character then the more enjoyable the gaming experience can be.
Using a guide takes that factor out and makes the game nothing more than a rigid process to get from point A to point B.
The World of Warcraft is made up of different social communities of people who became friends through it.
Using leveling guides might not allow you to enjoy such an interaction simply because you need to follow it as strictly as possible.
So, do you really need a WoW Leveling Guide? Only you can answer this question.
Find out what your gaming priorities are and act accordingly.
Good luck!
