How to Finish a Knit Bracelet
- 1). Make the knitted portion of the bracelet the desired length to fit your wrist. Bind off using preferred knit bind-off techniques. Leave about 12 inches of yarn attached to the bracelet after binding off.
- 2). Use a crochet hook to make chain stitches to form a loop at each corner on one end of the bracelet.
- 3). Sew buttons to each corner of the other end of the bracelet.
- 4). Slide the buttons through the loops to close the bracelet.
- 1). Complete the Viking knit bracelet to the desired length.
- 2). Cut a three-inch piece of sterling silver wire.
- 3). Thread the wire through all loops at one end of the bracelet. Wrap the wire into a loop and wrap around itself to secure the loops.
- 4). Thread a bead cap onto the looped wire.
- 5). Wrap the wire around round-nosed pliers and form a loop for the closure. Wrap the end of the wire around itself to close the loop. Trim the wire end.
- 6). Repeat the above steps to form a loop at the other end of the bracelet.
- 7). Attach a lobster clasp to the bracelet using the jump ring. Close the bracelet by hooking the lobster clasp to the loop on the other end of the bracelet.
