How to Glue a Partial Weave
- 1). Choose a weave on a track or weft in a color as close to your natural shade as possible.
- 2). Start with clean, dry, straight hair arranged in your chosen style.
- 3). Make a horizontal part, running from ear-to-ear, near the nape of your neck using a tail comb. Clip or tie the hair above the part out of the way.
- 4). Hold the weft or track against the part to establish the required width. Trim to the correct width if necessary, allowing for a little natural hair at both ends to hide the hair weft.
- 5). Apply glue along the top of the weft where the stitching is. Follow the manufacturer's directions for the glue product you are using.
- 6). Place the top of the weft against the hair just below the part and press firmly for a few seconds.
- 7). Let down the hair you clipped up in Step 3. Create another horizontal part, a little above the first weft.
- 8). Repeat Steps 4-6 to attach the second weft.
- 9). Continue to layer the wefts, working toward the top of your head.
