Happy Hour and Live Music in Historic Downtown Rio de Janeiro

Staying late in Centro Histórico is fun when there's live Brazilian pop (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), dance music with resident DJ Marcelo Lyrio (on Thursday) and live rock (on Fridays).

Appetizers include many types of grilled and fried fare - shrimp, chicken, croquettes. The bar also serves lunch: three types of almoço executivo, or prix fixe lunch specials (about $15) from Monday to Friday and lots of options a la carte.
